Biography

Ms. Shaima Alaam is an instructor at Bahrain Teachers College in the Department of Mathematics, Science and ICT Education. Ms. Shaima is an Associate Fellow of the UK Advance Higher Education Academy (AFHEA) (2023). Her qualifications are Master of Arts, Mathematics Education, University College London - Institute of Education (2016); BA, Bachelor of Education- Mathematics and general science, University of Bahrain - Bahrain Teachers College (2012). Ms. Shaima’s areas of expertise and research interests are revolved around Mathematics education, inquiry, content analysis, assessment in mathematics education, integrating digital tools in teaching.
