Biography


Mohamed Ahmed Youssef Al-Moumni is a “Professeur Agrégé” in Arabic Language. He has served as General Inspector of Education in the Republic of Tunisia. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at Bahrain Teachers College.

In 2008, he got a high diploma in education from Tunisian National Center for Training in Education. In 1998, he obtained the certificate of "Agrégation" with the first-class honors from the College of Arts in Manouba, Tunisia.

He has also earned a BA of Arts in Arabic Language and Civilization from the same college in 1991. He is interested in Linguistics, Theories of language acquisition, Taming dialects and vernaculars, Language assessment, Didactics, philosophy of language, psycholinguistics, literature, and the design of educational curricula and textbooks. He and his colleagues have reviewed and assessed the curricula and textbooks used in Tunisia, Morocco, Kuwait, and the UAE.

He has conducted and published research papers pertaining to this subject matter.
