Dr. Ziad ElJishi is Assistant Professor at Bahrain Teachers College at the University of Bahrain. Dr. ElJishi has obtained his doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree in chemistry from Texas State University. Dr. Eljishi’s areas of expertise are in teaching STEAM courses for pre-service teachers and science pedagogy courses for PGDE in-service teachers as well as developing professional development workshops for private school teachers. Dr. ElJishi’s research interests are in developing a Bloom’s taxonomy in Arabic for Arab teacher preparation programs and in developing bilingual education in Arab Gulf universities.
