Dr. Suzanne Arafa is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education Studies at Bahrain Teachers College - University of Bahrain. Member of the BTC Quality Assurance Committee and Education Studies department quality assurance (chair), as well as a member in the leadership center committee, Education Studies department assessment committee. Dr. Arafa is a Fellow of UK The Higher Education Academy (FHEA) (2024). Qualifications: PhD in Developmental Educational Psychology, Faculty of Education, University of Helwan, (2017), Master, in Education Cognition Psychology, University of Helwan, (2012), Special Diploma in Counselling and Psychoanalysis (2008), BA in Education, University of Helwan, (2007). Dr. Arafa’s area of expertise and research interests revolve around child development, Cognitive functions assessment and training, Educational Psychology and theories of human development, teaching practicum in school, Education of exceptional children, Psychosocial development, teacher training in public and private schools, classroom management and behavior modification techniques, action research for school leaders, structural equation modeling, measurement and assessment in teaching, and quality assurance and accreditation practices.
