Biography

Dr. Ruby Thomas is a Senior Lecturer in the Mathematics Department at Bahrain Teachers College, under the University of Bahrain. She holds a Ph. D. in Educational Technology and Mathematics, an M. Sc. in Mathematics, a B. Sc. in Mathematics, and a B. Ed. She is a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) and a UK Higher Education Academy Fellow (2020).

She earned a Post Diploma in Academic Practice (PCAP) from the University of Bahrain in 2020.

College Algebra and Trigonometry, Differential & Integral Calculus, Mathematical Modeling, Analytic Geometry, Discrete Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics & Probability, Business Statistics, Teaching of Mathematics, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Measurement are some of her areas of expertise.

She has published research articles in reputable journals, and her research interests include teaching, learning, and subject didactics.
