Biography

Parween Ebrahim is an assistant professor in the English Language Education Department at the Bahrain Teacher College. She served as Head of English Language Department from 2018-2022.

Her qualifications are a Ph.D. in English from Princeton University, USA (2011); an M.A. in English from Stanford University, USA (2004); and a B.Ed. in English and American Studies, University of Bahrain (2001).

Dr. Ebrahim’s research and teaching interests include children’s literature, and teaching English literature to second language learners, teaching writing in a second language, and bilingual and multi-cultural literacy.
