Biography
Dr. Hala Fawzi serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of English Language Education and is a Fellow at Advance HE, United Kingdom. She holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in English Language Teaching and a B.A. in English Language and Literature. As a passionate AI advocate, Dr. Fawzi actively promotes the integration of artificial intelligence to revolutionize language education. With extensive teaching experience across Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, she has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Globally, she conducted numerous workshops for educators on integrating technology into language teaching. Her research focuses on using artificial intelligence to improve language learning outcomes, incorporating technology in ESL/EFL contexts, blended learning, e-formative assessment, teacher training, and online teacher professional development.
