Dr. Doaa Said Hussain is the Head of Education Studies Department at Bahrain Teachers College and an Associate Professor in Early Childhood Education in the Department of Education Studies at the Bahrain Teacher College - University of Bahrain. Dr. Doaa has been awarded her PhD degree in Child Education from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2006, Master’s degree in Child Education from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 2001, Special Higher Diploma in Educational Psychology from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1993, and the B. Ed. in Kindergartners from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1991. Dr. Doaa’s areas of expertise and research interests are childhood curricula and teaching methods, child psychology with emphasis on social cognitive skills, educational psychology, and pre-school teachers’ professional development.
