Dr. Amjad Mohammad Abuloum

Dr Amjad Abuloum is an Associate Professor of Instructional Technology in the Department of Mathematics, Science and ICT at Bahrain Teachers College- University of Bahrain and the department's representative on the College Board.

Dr. Abuloum is a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a former Director of Learning Resources and Information Technology at BTC.

Prior to joining BTC, Dr. Abuloum was Director of the Centre for Academic Quality Assurance at Hashemite University.

He's acted as a consultant and evaluator for e-learning, instructional design, ICT and quality assurance in several local and regional projects. He has published many research papers and newspaper articles.

His main areas of interest include e-learning, AI, ICT tools, m-learning, digital skills and data science.

Dr. Abuloum received a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology (Curriculum & Instruction) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), USA, in 1998 with a GPA of 3.98, a Master's degree in the same specialization from UNL in 1996, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) in 1994.
