Biography

Dr. Abduyah Binte Ya'akub is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Maths, Science and ICT, at the Bahrain Teachers College – University of Bahrain. Dr. Yaakub is a Fellow of the UK Advance Higher Education Academy (FHEA) (2018).

Her qualifications are PhD., Educational Psychology, ICT, & Assessment - University of Queensland, Australia (2008); Masters, Educational Studies - Nanyang Technological University -Singapore (2001); Post-graduate Diploma in Education, National Institute of Education - Singapore (1994); BA., Social Sciences, National University of Singapore (1993); Dr. Ya'akub’s areas of expertise and research interests are revolved around teacher education, educational psychology, curriculum planning and development, motivation, assessment, innovative teaching/learning pedagogy and practices in higher education, quality assurance & standards, ICT, and recently developed on climate change.
